A CLOSURE threatened printing firm has won a multi-million pound contract that will secure its immediate future.
Polestar, which has a branch in Severalls Business Park, Colchester, was due to close in January last year.
But bosses reached an agreement with employees and unions in March to keep the factory running.
Now The Polestar group has secured a £75m contract renewal with Immediate Media Company.
It means the firm will continue to print titles such as Radio Times, BBC Good Food and BBC Top Gear for the next five years.
Titles such as Lonely Planet Traveller, Match of the Day magazine and Dr Who Adventures will also stay within the historic firm.
