Fly-tipper must pay out more than £2,600 for dumping fridge in residential street
A FLY-TIPPER must pay out more than £2,600...for dumping a broken fridge in a residential street in Laindon.
Andrew Albert, 46, of Stirling Place, Basildon, denied removing the fridge from a van - and then leaving it on the side of the road in Gower Chase.
This happened on February 24. Despite his plea he was found guilty at Basildon Magistrates’ Court.
Albert was fined £600, ordered to pay a further £1,944 in costs - and a £60 victim surcharge.
