BASILDON and Thurrock Hospital’s Polly Parrot appeal has been given a boost with two kind donations.
The Polly Parrot appeal is raising funds for the children’s wards at Basildon Hospital, including the neonatal intensive care unit and children’s oncology.
Michael Ginn, from the Rotary Club of Billericay, presented a cheque from his club for £100 towards the appeal, together with Concord Club president Alison Messham who handed over a cheque for £266 raised from a club function.
Helen Mattock from Basildon Hospital was present to receive the cheques.
