PUB-GOERS can enjoy a January Sale at four establishments in south Essex.

Managers at the the pubs have decided to join shops in the sale spirit and put on offers.

The Last Post in Weston Road, Southend, the Elms in London Road, Leigh, the Roebuck in Rayleigh High Street and Parson’s Barn in Frobisher Way, Shoebury, are reducing the price on a range of drinks from Tuesday, January 3 until Wednesday, January 18 inclusive.

There will be a range of products on offer, with something for everyone.

Some of the drinks featured in the sale will include a real ale - Doom Bar, a craft beer - Shipyard, one lager - Coors Light, two ciders - Strongbow Dark Fruit and Magners and three wines from Coldwater Creek.

Also on offer will be three spirits; Gordon’s gin, Smirnoff vodka, Bacardi rum, two soft drinks - SanPellegrino and Monster, Guinness, as well as takeaway Lavazza filter coffee and tea.

The Elms manager, Wayne McGraw, said January was the perfect time to have a sale.

He said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.

“The range of drinks on sale is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes.

“I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.

“As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
