There are four major fashion capitals -New York, London, Milan, and Paris and each city holds fashion shows twice a year.
The first ever London Fashion Week took place in 1984.
Those who like to stay in vogue may be surprised to hear the earliest fashion magazine was published all the way back in 1672. Called Le Mercure Galant, the magazine began to regularly offer comment on the latest clothing styles throughout Europe.
