Members of the team with the mobile unit
A TEAM of cancer information specialists will visit Southend today and tomorrow to answer questions and provide support and advice to people suffering from cancer.
This week, the team are focusing on finances. Macmillan Cancer Support’s mobile service will be joined by the Essex Macmillan Welfare Benefits team.
Errol Holloway, who manages the Macmillan Welfare Benefits team, said: “Costs mount up for those suffering with cancer. It’s therefore vital that people living with cancer can access the financial support they’re entitled to.”
The mobile information bus will be outside the Odeon Cinema, in the Victoria Circus Precinct, Southend from 10am to 4pm today and tomorrow.
