PEOPLE who like to spend their time close to the sea have the chance to bag a beach hut...which has gone up for sale for nearly £50,000.
The beach hut, on Shoebury’s East Beach, is featured on property website Rightmove with a guide price of £49,995.
The online description reads: “This contemporary and state-of-the-art beach hut is located on the sought after East Beach with its award winning blue flag beaches. Just a short stones throw from the Estuary, it offers superb views across the Thames and Southend Pier with panoramic views.”
The beach hut boasts dual opening barn style doors, a fitted kitchen with four ring gas hob and wine rack and wood effect laminate flooring.
There is also a patio area outside for seating and barbecues, with an impressive view of the sea.
There is also CCTV for additional security.
The advert added: “East Beach is a fantastic and sought after position directly on the Coast with easy access to the High Street and superb C2C rail links.”
Last year, the Echo reported that beach huts were being sold for £40,000.
