A BRASS band entertained crowds at a Music in the Park event.
Families flocked to the Southend bandstand, in Priory Park, in Victoria Avenue, Southend, on Sunday afternoon to enjoy a free performance from Thundersley Brass.
The events marks the start of a series of concerts which lasts until Monday, May 3 and are all free to attend.
Other performers at the bandstand will include Tibury Brass Academy, Southend Jazz Co-operative and the Variety Jazz Band.
