A NEW burlesque club is set to open in the city.
Club Tantalize, Barrack Square, Chelmsford will open in the building of the former Miya night club.
Work has begun on a huge refurbishment costing more than 200,000 on the former night club.
Nas Mal, 33, manager of the new club insisted the venue will bring a theatre inspired experience to the city and its residents.
He is also the regional manager of other adult entertainment venues including Katz Gentleman's Club in Basildon and Entice in Southend.
Mr Mal said: “It is about the beauty of a theatre type art form and enjoying a show much like that at a theatre.
“We believe that there is nothing like this in Essex and we are excited to bring something different to the area.”
The club bosses expect that the venue will be open the summer.
