Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze that broke out in a garage in Basildon after it spread into the roof space of three adjoining garages.
Two engines from Basildon and one from Rayleigh attended to exthinguish the fire, which took place in a garage in Shirley Gardens, Basildon.
The crews managed to extinguish the fire by 12.15pm on Saturday, April 22.
One garage has been completely destroyed and the three other garages suffered some fire and smoke damage.
The cause of the incident has been recorded as accidental and is most likely due to an electrical fault.
