Five fire crews battle derelict building arson
FIVE fire crews battled a blaze at a derelict building in Stanford-le-Hope.
It broke out in The Sorrells yesterday at about 2.30pm, with firefighters from Corringham, Orsett, Basildon and two Grays crews attend.
On arrival firefighters reported that the single storey building was 100 per cent alight and worked to extinguish it by 4pm.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as deliberate.
