GRAPHIC design students will showcase their end of year projects at the Victoria Shopping Centre.
The show, organised by Year One and Two students, who all study at the South Essex College University Centre in Southend, will run until Saturday.
A variety of graphic design creations will be on show including striking weather charts which allow people to find out temperatures around the globe, artwork for a new range of pet food and branding designs for a distillery company.
Jack Dawson, 22, from Hockley said: “I wanted to re-package minerals for rock collectors and also give them a way to display their collections.” He used the shapes of various minerals to design boxes for storage and display.
He created 3D drawings of minerals and used them to influence his branding colour choices.
Jack added: “I base a lot of my work on science and maths. I like making things that stand out. This course has allowed me to turn my hobby into a career I love.”
