SCHOOL pupils showed off their skills at a design, art and technology summer exhibition.
Proud students, parents and staff members attended the event at Cornelius Vermuyden School, in Dinant Avenue, Canvey.
Headteacher Carol Skewes said that the school was delighted as visitors enjoyed the paintings, lanterns, woodturning and music.
She said: “The exhibition was a fantastic celebration of all our pupils’ achievements over the year. Fine art and photography work was displayed throughout the street area, along with hanging laser cut lampshades and large-scale sculptures. Food pupils catered the event, making and serving their own canapes, while Year 9 pupils played beautifully in an orchestra as background music.”
