YOU would be a “42-carat plonker” to miss out on the first ever Only Fools and Horses costume exhibition which has opened at Southend Pier.
Experience the world and history of the Trotters and their friends with this collection of costumes and props from one of the nation’s most loved sitcoms - some of which have never been seen before.
It features more than 30 original screen costumes worn by David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst and even the late Roger-Lloyd Pack, who played the lovable oaf Trigger.
The famous actual Batman and Robin costumes, worn in the BBC Christmas special Heroes and Villains, are also proudly on show - as well as the yellow Reliant Regal Supervan 111.
The three-wheeled van, emblazoned with the famous Trotters Independent Trading Co, was actually driven by Del Boy himself.
The exhibition, hosted by the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society, runs everyday during summer from 11am until 5pm.
The collection was created by superfan Perry Aghajanoff, founder of the fan club, who became friends with cast members when attending live screenings. The first costume donated to him was from Kenneth MacDonald, who played Nags Head barman Mike Fisher.
