A man will appear in court today (Tuesday, February 20) accused of a number of offences.
Lee Whyte, 35, of Ufford, Woodbridge, was arrested on Sunday, February 18, in Southend.
He has been charged with a public order offence, possession of a knife or sharply pointed article, grievous bodily harm with intent, attempted robbery, robbery and theft.
The charges have been brought in connection with alleged incidents in Southend between November 2017 and February 2018.
He was remanded to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court.
