The British-made Raspberry Pi computer celebrated its sixth birthday this month and to celebrate a number of Raspberry Jam events took place.
The Raspberry Pi is a simplified computer which gives people the chance to learn computer science.
The amateur radio group Essex Ham was proud to be invited to the Southend Raspberry Jam, which was organised by South Tech, and held at the Hive Enterprise Centre, in Victoria Avenue
The enthusiasts demonstrated some software and hardware that link radio and computing together and how important radio is in our daily lives.
Demonstrations included showing what signals from a radio station look like on-screen and tracking local aircraft with a Raspberry Pi.
