THEY'VE earned their chops by doing the busking circuit, playing at gigs and festivals up and down the UK, and now three piece indie-rockers Jump Stone are about to launch their brand new single at an official release gig at the Edge in Basildon.

Won't Last A Minute is a song about a "previous relationship where the young lady went off with an older man" they explain, adding that it perhaps has the feel of an early Arctic Monkeys record, as well as their own sound, helped by engineers and producers Tom Carter and Barrington Mole of Sound Hub Studios in Derby. "They are a great couple of guys and helped us find a sound we wanted. We recorded three songs with them, which will be released later".

The single launch night takes place this Friday at the bar in High Pavement, from 7:30pm.

It's the fourth time the boys from Billericay and Grays have played there, and they say is a great venue.

Jump Stone are Harry Cash (guitar and lead vocals), Harrison Palmer (bass, backing vocals) amd Daniel Rawley (drums and backing vocals).

Their story started with Harry auditioned for Harry's covers band, when they were aged only 14 and 15. Three years later, in 2016, Harry and Harrison decided to form a different band, recruiting Dan on drums, writing their own music, a three-way collaboration where they "just jam out a riff at rehearsals and start to develop it over the next few weeks and that is it".

"We base our songs around solid infectious riffs that are upbeat and then help it along with driving bass lines, tight drums and even tighter crisp stops, when that’s done we lay Harry’s smooth vocals over the top. Job done!" they add. "As a three piece we have to work hard on stage to keep the performance, songs and music interesting, engaging and hopefully worth listening too. The guitar and bass use various pedals to change the texture, sound and dynamic of the music, there is no place to hide in a three piece."

Further single releases are planned for later in the year, as well as a mini tour.

Won't Last A Minute is released on April 28, on all online platforms, 390 online stores, 180 territories and 190 countries.
