CANVEY Island manager Danny Heale says he will be rotating the squad ahead of tonight’s match at Brentwood Town.
The Gulls have secured sixth spot in the league and have two matches remaining before the end of season play-offs.
And while the four teams above them are fighting it out for places, Heale hopes Canvey can get through the last two matches without drama.
“Everything has gone 100 miles per hour this season,” said Heale.
“We are a bit battered and bruised and we don’t have a massive squad so the side will be getting moved around. I want a fully fit squad to choose from on Saturday.
“I feel as though those above us are fighting it out for places so we can prepare a bit better perhaps but I need to assess who needs a rest.
“We could have done without it being tonight but we will pick a side to go and do the job and we will go from there.”
George Allen and George Sykes are injury doubts.
