A further man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the death of Fabian Kacica as family and friends released an emotional tribtue to the 19-year-old. 

Fabian, from Southend, died following a disturbance in Farringdon Service Road, outside The Forum, on Monday, May 14.

Police  arrested a 21-year-old man, of no fixed address, on suspicion of murder, robbery and possession of drugs on Thursday and he has been released on bail until Thursday, July 12.

Two men charged now face criminal proceedings for murder and attempted robbery. 

Aidon Pearce, 20, unemployed, of Treecot Drive, Leigh-on-Sea, and Joe Paffrey, 20, unemployed, of Old Southend Road, Southend, are next due to appear at court on Friday, July 13.

In a tribute, Fabian’s family and friends said: “Fabian was a great brother, a wonderful son, an amazing cousin and a brilliant friend. 

“He loved playing football and having fun with his friends.

“Fabian was kind and had a heart of gold. He would never have hurt anyone and he always helped others. These qualities made him a very special person.

“He will always be remembered as a generous and happy person, with a good personality and a lot of friends who respected him.

“He had his future ahead of him, and was working hard to achieve his dreams and goals.

“Fabian, you were definitely one of the good guys. You will always remain in our hearts, and we will always carry your memory with us. You will never be forgotten and we will never stop missing you. Fly high to the bridge of heaven.”  

NB Charges have been dropped against two other men who were initially charged with the murder of Fabian Kacica.

Michael Nyathi, 18, of Steeplefield, Leigh, and a 17-year-old boy from Shoebury who cannot be named for legal reasons, will face no further action.
