A 15-year-old murdered at birthday party in Romford was Chafford Hundred teenager Jordan Douherty.

Jordan died following violence outside the party at a community centre in Clockhouse, Lane, Collier Row, on Saturday.

Police and Ambulance staff attended the scene and met by around 100 young people.

Police are now questioning three male teenagers on suspicion of murder.

A bus driver, in his 50s, was hurt during the incident.

Aspiring rap star Jordan appeared in a number of YouTube videos with the group C17 under the alias Young Valenti.

It is believed Jordan grew up in Chafford Hundred and attended Harris Academy in the town.

Det Sgt Gurj Singh said: "I would like to directly appeal to those present to contact the police about what they saw and heard to help my team build a clearer picture of what took place.

"Equally, if you have video footage or images of the violent aftermath to the party, we need to hear from you."
