Six arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing
Police have arrested six people on suspicion of attempted murder following the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy.
The incident happened in May Avenue, Canvey, at around 11.50pm on Friday, July 13.
Five boys aged 15, 16 17 and 24-year-old woman, all from Canvey, remain in custody for questioning.
The arrests follow an incident where a boy, aged 16, suffered three stab wounds after leaving a party.
It is understood he was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he underwent surgery.
He remains in hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
