A MAN was rushed to hospital after he fell from a ladder.
The man was working at a property in Roche Avenue, Rochford when he fell off his ladder.
Emergency services were quickly called and paramedics arrived at around 9.55am.
After realising the man was trapped and they could not get to him, the ambulance crew called for two fire crews to attend.
They assisted paramedics in getting access to the man for treatment.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: "We can confirm that an ambulance was on the scene at 9:54am.
"A 71 year old man was transported to hospital with back pain."
When asked the distance from which the man had fallen from the spokesman did not have any further information.
