DOZENS of mourners attended the emotional funeral of a young mother who died suddenly in her sleep.

Chloe Dunk, from Southend, was found unconscious in her bed on May 26.

She was at home with her boyfriend and her one-year-old son when she went to take a nap.

The 20-year-old was found unconscious and despite her boyfriend and paramedics’ performing CPR for more than an hour, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dozens of mourners turned out to pay their respects to Chloe at her funeral which was held at St Mary’s Church, Prittlewell, yesterday afternoon.

Chloe, a former King Edmund School pupil, was a middle sibling of five and worked at the Lamb and Lion in Westcliff.

Her mother Natalie described Chloe as “the most beautiful person inside and out”.

Ms Dunk, who is also from Southend, added: “Everyone who met her loved her - she had such a way with people. I am not surprised at how many people loved her but how they have reached out after her death has completely blown me away. It has touched so many people.”
