Essex and Herts Air Ambulance is looking for supporters across Essex and Hertfordshire to get involved with National Air Ambulance Week this September.

Throughout the month EHAAT’s collection crew will be out and about at locations across the two counties with collection buckets, and the charity would like as many people as possible to get involved.

National Air Ambulance Week from September 11 to 16 sees air ambulances across the country working to raise awareness of their life-saving work and raise funds.

Last year EHAAT’s collectors raised over £7,000 through bucket collections during National Air Ambulance Week alone and it hopes that this year will be even better.

Sabi Stafford, Essex Fundraising Manager at EHAAT said: “We’ve had a record number of locations giving us permission to do a collection. It’s great news, but it does mean we will need more volunteers to help us cover them.

“If you could volunteer for as little as two hours during National Air Ambulance Week, you’d be helping keep your local life-saving Charity operational. Please think about joining our Collection Crew, however much time you can spare.”
