Three teenagers have been arrested after a boy was stabbed in the shoulder and back.
Police arrested a boy and two girls on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in Southend yesterday.
They were arrested after reports that a boy had suffered stab wounds to his shoulder and back in Christchurch Road at around 3.35pm yesterday.
He was airlifted to hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening nor life-changing.
The 13-year-old boy and the girls, aged 17, we arrested remain in custody for questioning.
