Essex Police have bailed two teenagers connected with the stabbing of a young boy in Southend at the weekend.
The incident took place in Christchurch Road, Southend, when a boy was stabbed in the back and shoulder on Saturday.
A 13-year-old boy arrested on grievous bodily harm with intent and a 17-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail until Wednesday, September 12.
A 17-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent has been released without charge.
