Fleetwood Town Football Club gave the shirt to a youngster named Alfie.
Southend United Football Club took to Twitter to say well done.
The club tweeted: "A brilliant gesture from @ftfc and @Joey7Barton for presenting Alfie with a shirt to get signed after the game after getting hit by a ball in the warm-up #FootballFamily."
