Police officers have released an image of a woman they want to speak to in connection with a robbery investigation.

This is after it was previously reported that a woman in her 70s had a four-figure sum of cash stolen on February 10.

At the time, she had been in Robert Dyas in the High Street.

Anyone with any further information should contact Essex Police and quote the crime reference number 42/33906/23.

However, they could also get in touch by submitting a report on the website or using the online Live Chat service.

The latter is available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am-9pm.

Visit essex.police.uk/digital101 to find out more about the website reporting services.

Alternatively call police on 101, however, in an emergency, always contact 999.

To make an anonymous report, contact independent charity Crimestoppers, by visiting their website or by calling 0800 555 111.

This is the latest instance of crime taking place in Brentwood.

On March 11, three teenage boys were arrested in the town centre on suspicion of robbery earlier that day.

Other charges from that incident included burglary and attempted GBH.

At the time, Chief Superintendent Jenny Barnett, LPA commander, said: “The west of the county is a safe place to live and work, and we will continue the good work to keep you safe and arrest those intent on committing crime.”
