“Personalised care really is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking forward to meeting all our neighbours and building new friendships within the local community.”

The home will offer three types of care which are residential, dementia, and respite.

At the heart of Pinetree is also ensuring residents, no matter their age, can still live life to the fullest.

So, they run an activities programme so that our residents can get the most out of every day.

This includes visits from entertainers, pantos, and choirs. Residents will also have a choice of television lounges and quiet rooms as well as a number of kitchens for those who enjoy baking and cooking.

Ellie Cairns, home services advisor at Barchester Healthcare, previously told the Echo: “We are really keen on giving these people the best chance to live well.

“Residents are safe but not restricted and so they can still be who they are. Our team are very good at making sure it is person-centred. What they want matters. That is very important and at the heart of what we are doing.”
