A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on Canvey.
Emergency services rushed to Elder Tree Road, on Canvey, near Canvey Library, on Saturday afternoon following reports a pedestrian had been injured in a crash.
Alongside the ambulance service, the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance also attended.

One man has since been taken to Southend Hospital for further assessment.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “One man was transported to Southend University Hospital for further assessment and care.”
Essex Police officers were also reportedly in attendance and the force has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
