A NEW charity boutique has opened in Leigh Broadway, supporting the work of Havens Hospices.

Named Re:loved by Havens Hospices, the shop aims to offer a premium shopping experience catering to lovers of sustainable and pre-loved fashion.

Open seven days a week, it will sell a wide variety of pre-loved and vintage goods donated by the public.

All proceeds go to Havens Hospices which provides care for children, young people, and adults with complex and incurable conditions.

To celebrate the store’s opening, the first 50 customers received a golden envelope with a voucher inside.

However, the envelope’s secret discount, ranging from 10 per cent to 50 per cent off, is only revealed upon its holder’s next purchase.

Mark Davies, head of trading at Havens Hospices, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to bring preloved fashion to the heart of Leigh Broadway and continue to raise as much money as possible towards our specialist care, which is a lifeline for many local families.

“As well as high street items, we’re selling luxury, designer and vintage brands too. We’re especially excited to showcase our collection of denim and Americana fashion.

“Labels include Michael Kors, Ted Baker, Levi’s, Wrangler and much more.

“Our exciting promotion means our first customers get a mystery discount of up to 50 per cent off their next purchase - that’s on top of our existing great prices.

“If you are a fan of charity shopping or looking for a unique item to add to your wardrobe, please come and see what we have to offer.

“It’s charity shopping reinvented, and we guarantee you are in for a treat.”

The new Leigh Broadway boutique is one of 27 Havens Hospices stores across Essex.

It’s situated at 3 Broadway, opposite St Clement’s Church, and operates between 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm on Saturday, and 10am-4pm on Sunday.

The charity boutique is also searching for volunteers willing to assist the shop in its operations.
