A man arrested over the murder of Nicola Ray 10 year's ago has been released on bail.
Timothy Barnes, 47, was released on bail while police continue their investigation.
It came as officers concluded the search of his home in Voysey Gardens, Basildon which he shared with Nicola Ray at the time of her disappearance.
Mum-of-two Nicola, 30, was last seen leaving her friend's home in Devlins, Felmores in May 2000.
She has never been seen since and her disappearance has remained a mystery for the last decade.
