SHE’S one of CBeebies most popular presenters and Katy Ashworth will be at the Towngate over the weekend with her touring roadshow.
The star of I Can Cook is a familiar face to youngsters and she’ll be entertaining them with a magical mix of make-believe, nursery rhymes, games and stories.
Children will help Katy as she tries to make a sunflower grow big and tall, and there will be songs and dances to help it on its way as well as a mischevious cast including a naughty monkey called Monty.
“It’s a cacophony of dancing, sing-a-long-ing,” says Katy. “It’s the perfect show for all children, especially the under-sixes. Adults will enjoy it as well. It’s a real giggle.”
Katy Ashworth’s Meet, Greet, Sing and Play Roadshow is at the Towngate Theatre, St Martin’s Square, Basildon. on Saturday at 11am and 2pm. Tickets are £7 adult and £6 children. Call 01268 465465.
