Police have named the 18-year-old who died following a crash in Billericay.
Dale Carlier from Coram Green in Hutton was in the black Ford Fiesta along Western Road shortly before 2am on Saturday, April 21 when he appears to have lost control of the car and struck a wall.
The vehicle then overturned. At this stage, police have yet to establish who the driver of the car was.
He was taken to Basildon Hospital, but sadly died a short time later.
Three male passengers were also conveyed to the same hospital. A 20-year-old from Brentwood sustained head and arm injuries. A 20-year-old from Romford sustained arm injuries. A 17-year-old from Brentwood sustained pelvic and facial inquiries. All three remain in stable conditions at the hospital.
A section of the road was closed for approximately four hours while forensic collision investigators carried out their enquiries.
