Two accidents caused traffic chaos on the A127 tonight as drivers struggled to get home.
An overturned car blocked one lane of the A127 westbound in Laindon.
The car blocked a lane between the A176 Upper Mayne junction and Fortune Of War at about 4.30pm.
At 5.30pm, a two vehicle crash blocked lane two just after the A128 Halfway House.
Motorists suffered delays through the evening rush hour.
