A MAN was headbutted outside a pub in the early hours of the morning.

The 38-year-old man was attacked outside the Plough, in London Road, Westcliff, at 1:30am on Sunday, September 11.

Investigating Officer, Pc Dan Bray, said: "Hopefully, there will be someone who saw this altercation outside the pub who can help us identify the perpetrator behind this nasty assault.”

The assailant is described as white, of large build, had a bald head and was wearing a white T-shirt.
