l RUNDOWN: Bowers & Pitsea manager Rob Small will be looking to get some more points on the board when they make the short trip to Tilbury tomorrow afternoon.
Bowers lost at home against Maldon & Tiptree on Tuesday and are without a win in their last three league encounters after an excellent start to life in the Ryman North.
This begins a run of three straight matches against fellow Essex sides for Bowers - with Brentwood Town and Aveley to follow in the next eight days.
Tilbury have also had an excellent start to the season and have won their last three in the league.
However, they have suffered recent disappointments in the cup competitions, with defeats against Billericay and Lewes in the Ryman League Cup and FA Trophy in the past fortnight.
l MANAGER’S VIEW: Bowers manager Rob Small said: “Both Tilbury and ourselves will see it as a good chance to cement our positions. The points you get now will drive you forward or see you tail off.
"I like going to new places and whether it be a new ground or different supporters it is a tough and competitive fixture. It is a crazy division.
"Everyone is taking points off everyone and we have only got one from the last nine and we are getting injuries too. I am dreading this week a bit as it is catching up with us."
l TEAM NEWS: Martyn Guest, Tom Hine, Aaron Waters, Vinny Durrant, Paul White, Jamie Salmon, Lewis Manor and Shomari Barnwell are doubts or unavailable.
