l RUNDOWN: Billericay Town are gunning for their first win in four matches when lowly Met Police make the trip to New Lodge tomorrow.

After a terrific run of just one loss in 17 matches, Town have lost three of the last four and will be desperate to return to winning ways so as not to slip too far off the pace in the play-off chase.

Town are now five points off the top five, albeit with several games in hand over a number of the sides above them.

Met Police were 3-1 winners against Grays Athletic last time out but remain in the bottom four, and will be keen to build on their emphatic performance from last Saturday.

Billericay have won the last two meetings 3-0 and 6-0 against Met Police on their own turf.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Billericay manager Craig Edwards: “We had eight players out at Folkestone on Tuesday and, all things considered, I thought it was an incredible performance. We should have won and it was a word-class strike that won it for them.

“Met Police have got a few wins but we have a good record against them at home and we are taking nothing for granted.

“We have an excellent team spirit and nothing helps that more than wins.”

l TEAM NEWS: Kreshnic Krasniqi is banned. Jerrome Sobers is likely to make a second home debut, Steve King has returned to Concord.
