BASILDON United manager Aaron Bloxham says a game against table-topping Barking has not come at a good time for his side.

The Bees face arguably the toughest task of the weekend as they visit the runaway leaders. Barking have established a four point lead at the top with at least three games in hand on the chasing pack.

And manager Aaron Bloxham is well aware of the size of the challenge, with his squad carrying a number of injuries.

“It is a very tough game and has not come at the best time,” he said. “We have six unavailable but will be going all out for the win and we must if we want to catch Barking.

“These boys have done brilliantly so far so let’s rise to the challenge once again.”

Southend Manor welcome Barkingside to Southchurch Park looking to extend their excellent recent form.

Manor are third in the standings and have won six of their last eight games.

“We are looking to build on Saturday’s 4-0 win at Eton Manor,” said manager Stuart Marshall. “We lost to Barkingside last month and they were by far the best side we have faced this season but they are inconsistent, much like us at times.”

Hullbridge Sports welcome Eton Manor as they look to build on a 1-1 draw with Ilford last time out.

Sports have struggled to match their early season form but will be favourites against 14th-placed Manor tomorrow.

Manager Rob Hodgson has a full squad to choose from.
