BOWERS & Pitsea made it five straight victories as they made light work of struggling Wroxham.

It only took five minutes for the opener to come. Vinny Durrant, back in the side after missing the start of the season through injury, scored a fine lobbed effort after good link up play with Lewis Manor.

David Knight shot wide as the pressure intensified, with Callum Leahy the next to come close but his close range effort was cleared off the line.

Bowers were totally dominant and the second goal looked as though it wasn’t far away.

It came eight minutes before the interval, with Alfie Hilton’s corner seemingly going straight in.

After the break, Knight shot over the bar after good build-up from strike partner Brad Warner.

Wroxham enjoyed a rare spell in possession, hitting the bar during that spell although Hilton hit the post up the other end.

Bowers knew a third goal would kill off the game and it wasn’t long in coming in the end.

It involved all three of Bowers’ strikers – with Knight crossing, Manor dummying superbly and Warner sliding the ball under the goalkeeper to complete the scoring.
