RUNDOWN: Great Wakering Rovers will need a better performance and result than last week if they are to avoid relegation this season.
Keith Wilson’s side lost 5-0 to Ware and were 3-0 down within the opening nine minutes.
The poor performance led to Wilson giving his half time team talk on the pitch in front of the supporters.
A win is needed against Dereham Town, as Wakering are currently eight points off safety.
MANAGER’S VIEW: Wakering manager Keith Wilson said: “I am definitely looking for a reaction from the players.
“Last week’s performance was inexcusable and that was the most angry I have ever been at half time.
“I don’t regret my actions at half time at all.
“They did not listen to the instructions given to them.
“We need a reaction and we need to start picking up points because the games are running out fast.”
TEAM NEWS: John Easterford has left the club, along with Joseph Paxman.
Wilson is hoping to have three new faces added to the squad prior to the visit of Dereham Town, while the manager has admitted changes will be made.
