BOWERS & Pitsea boss Rob Small says the next seven days could be significant as they bid to secure a Ryman North play-off place.
Bowers play games in hand against Norwich United (tonight) and VCD Athletic (next Tuesday) as they bid to secure a top five finish.
But Small said it will be very tough, with visitors Norwich just a point behind them in the standings.
“Every game becomes really tough at this stage of the season,” said Small.
“Fifty per cent of the league harbour play-off hopes and the other 50 per cent are either trying to avoid relegation or looking over their shoulder.
“Norwich are a good side who are chasing a play-off spot and we shouldn’t even be considering the play-offs as a possibility. It is a great achievement and we will try to beat each opponent and see where it gets us.
“We play our games in hand this week so the table will make for interesting reading in seven days.”
Callum Leahy returns from a ban, Ross Adams is banned and Jay Nash is out.
