l RUNDOWN: Great Wakering Rovers could be relegated tomorrow as they face another difficult task in their increasingly unlikely bid to remain in the Ryman North.

Rovers visit Haringey Borough, who are currently sixth and just a single point outside the play-off places with seven matches to go.

The hosts know this is a game they must win, while Rovers know every match is a must win with defeat, combined with victory for fourth-from-bottom Ware, leaving them 18 points adrift with six games to play.

And an inferior goal difference of almost 40 goals would mean there was no way back.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Wakering manager Iain O’Connell said: “The damage was done a long time ago. The players must play for their own pride. If we are not good enough then so be it but if they can give 100 per cent then they can keep their heads held high.

“Haringey are a good side and I might change the formation to see what we can do. Some of the under-21s need to be given a fair crack. If they are good enough then they are old enough.”

l TEAM NEWS: Jimmy Nottage has left the club. Under-21s Franklin Craik and Louis Robinson could feature.
