BILLY Bricknell says Billericay Town remain wary ahead of tonight’s massive Ryman Premier League match against fellow play-off hopefuls Dulwich Hamlet.

Town beat Hamlet just 3-0 just three days to move to within two points of the top five.

And the cautious Bricknell, who is on 27 goals for the season, said team camaraderie was crucial going forward.

“We changed the formation a bit on Saturday and that surprised them a bit,” said Bricknell, 28. “We started well and it was over in the first 30 minutes.

“But we are wary of them and just need to win our games.

“You can bring in players and it won’t mean much but we have been a team for a little while now and the togetherness is showing.

“We had dinner after the Dulwich game and you can have all the money in the would and it would mean nothing without togetherness.

“We have some good players here and know we are going to score goals,” he added. “Adam (Cunnington) and I have got a good record and I have played against Jake (Robinson) a few times and know he’s a top player.” Kick-off at New Lodge is at 7:45pm.
