SOUTHEND Manor's poor end to the season continued as they were defeated 2-0 by Sawbridgeworth Town.
A Gavin Cockman brace was the difference between the sides in the end, as Stuart Marshall's team's bid to secure a top five finish come the end of the season took another blow.
Cockman put the visitors ahead in the first period, as his header flew past the Manor goalkeeper.
The home side continued to push, creating opportunities without forcing the equaliser.
The second goal was a cracker, with Cockman unleashing a fierce free-kick that rocketed into the net.
The result leaves Manor seventh in the standings, tied on points with Sawbridgeworth, who have two games in hand.
