l RUNDOWN: Billericay Town will be hoping their top five hopes are alive and kicking come Monday’s derby duel with Canvey Island.

Defeat against struggling Leatherhead tomorrow (kick-off 3pm) would all but end Glenn Tamplin’s hope of securing a play-off finish this season.

Jimmy Bullard’s Leatherhead are only outside the relegation places on goal-difference ahead of kick-off, and have picked up seven points from clashes with Wingate & Finchley, Dulwich Hamlet and Kingstonian in the past three weeks.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Billericay boss Glenn Tamplin said: “We tend to falter against sides down the bottom. We play a great game and then have a bad game.

“We are not consistent and I said to the players that they are not for me if they are not consistent. We can’t keep falling over.

“I would rather 8/10 every week as opposed to 10/10 one week and 4/10 the next.

“Teams will slip up this weekend. If we win and climb up the table then the Canvey game is huge and arguably the biggest game of the season.

“We must win tomorrow and then we could be looking at our highest ever crowd on Monday. It could make the difference between 500/600 fans. We must win.”

l TEAM NEWS: Rob Swaine is a doubt for tomorrow’s game. Olly Sprague returns having been cup-tied for Wednesday’s cup win.
