CONCORD Rangers manager Adam Flanagan said a strong end to the season will make up for a poor beginning as he gears up for the final two matches of term.

The Beach Boys are safe from relegation after a 3-0 victory against Whitehawk on Bank Holiday Monday.

Although Flanagan remains far from satisfied having wanted more from this National League South campaign.

And he wants a good final home display against relegation-threatened Gosport Borough tomorrow, before the season ends at Hampton & Richmond Borough next weekend.

“Even though we may be safe I still want a strong performance on Saturday from us against what will be a determined Gosport side,” he said.

“Ideally I would like two wins from the last two games but what I want is two determined performances and if we do that then I am confident we will get points in both games.

“It is very important to me that we end this season well as a good end to the campaign will hopefully go some way to putting right the poor start we had.”

Concord could be without several important first-team players for the match at the Aspect Arena.

Left-back Ben Wyatt is definitely out for the season with ankle ligament damage.

While striker Jordan Chiedozie and defender Steve King are carrying knocks and may not feature.
