EAST Thurrock United conceded a last minute equaliser as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Poole Town.

John Coventry’s side returned to the FutureFuel Stadium after emerging victorious at Bognor Regis Town on Saturday.

And despite Reece Harris and Sam Higgins firing Rocks into a two-goal first half lead, Marvin Brooks and Constable allowed the visitors to claim a share of the spoils.

Similar to the trip to Bognor Regis Town on Saturday, Rocks raced into an early lead.

And Harris was on the scoresheet once again, as he found the back of the net inside six minutes.

East Thurrock doubled their advantage just past the half hour mark as Higgins was on target.

However, Poole hit back four minutes after the break with Brooks finding a way past home goalkeeper Lukas Lidakevicius.

Rocks could not hold onto their lead as Constable converted.

Poole ended the encounter with 10 men, thanks to Brooks’ dismissal, but there was no time for East Thurrock to score a winner.

East Thurrock United: Lidakevicius, Clark, Sammons, Peddie, Darling, White, Harris (Phipps 88), Christou, Higgins, Agyemang (Cornhill 68), Honesty (Smith 81)
