BILLERICAY Town have signed former Football League defender Callum Kennedy.
The left back joins from AFC Wimbledon, who play in League One.
Kennedy, 28, played 21 times for the Dons last season, including in the 2-0 victory against Southend United on New Year’s Day.
His last appearance in the League came on May 5 against Bury.
Kennedy has plenty of league experience having played for Swindon, Gillingham and Scunthorpe and joins the list of big name full-backs to have played for the non-league club.
Paul Konchesky and Kevin Foley both played for Billericay last season, although both have now left for pastures new.
Kennedy is expected to be followed to the National League South newcomers by further signings in the coming weeks.
