TWO late goals denied Rocks what would have been their seventh win on the bounce at Met Police.
John Coventry’s side looked set for all three Ryman Premier points after first half-goals in-form strike duo Sam Higgins (12 minutes) and Hakeem Araba (21) gave them a 2-0 lead with five minutes to play.
But 18-year-old Jonty Smith pulled one back for the hosts on 84 minutes and then Staforde Palmer grabbed an equaliser and a share of the spoils with two minutes of the 90 remaining.
It was a bit of a role reversal for the Rocks, who came back from 2-0 down themselves on Tuesday to win 3-2 at Enfield Town.
East Thurrock: Wray, Sammons, Stephen, Peddie, Sheehan, Parmenter, Newby, Gilbey, Higgins, Araba, Ruel.
